Our Mission

Ambitious People Realising Creative Logistics Solutions.

Our Vision

Recognising the continuous change of our society, Den Hartogh Logistics has organised itself in such a way that adaptation and pro-activeness are a generic given. As a preferred logistics service provider, we shall innovate, grow and be a stable factor.

Within Den Hartogh Group we embrace and live by a set of core values that reflect the chemistry and atmosphere we want to work in. We create the right environment to deliver our smart solutions. Our 6 core values are: Openness, Respect, Fun in Business, Initiative, People Development and Caring.

Our Culture

First of all, our aim is to create chemistry with our partners. In case some challenges occur, together we search for the solution. Our employees work together with our partners’ staff, and even with our partners’ customers in order to make it work!

Den Hartogh combines a 5-years strategy with a “check-up” in the third year. Our approach involves all of our employees and is also connected with budgets. This is how we all participate in the growth of our business.

All employees are informed about relevant topics by mail, board computer, narrow casting, internal magazines and newsletters and in person by their manager. On a quarterly base employees around the world are informed about successes and challenges.

Group Managing Director Pieter den Hartogh gets his energy from working together with a great team, always looking for chances and opportunities to improve and create distinctive power. Our chemistry, which includes ambition, initiative, ownership and teamwork, enables all employees to make a difference.

We are here to grow in Asia.
Grow with us.

Asia Pacific (APAC) is an important region for Den Hartogh’s global logistics business unit that strives to meet our client’s ISO tank transportation needs. At Den Hartogh Asia Pacific, we have more than 160 sales, operations and supporting staff in Singapore, Bangkok, Klang, Seoul and Shanghai, as well as network partnerships covering all major chemical logistics markets in the region.

With 100 years of history and success, Den Hartogh is now focused on developing intra-Asia Pacific chemical logistics. Servicing our customers in Asia with a high level of operational readiness and customized door to door chemical logistics solutions will be the standard in our daily work.

Den Hartogh will expand our ISO tank fleet in Asia significantly over the next 5 years. Tank containers will be made available readily for our chemical customers at the right place, right time and right cost level.

With growth as the theme in Asia Pacific, Den Hartogh will continue to invest and expand our tank container network in the key markets of China, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines and Australia. We have an aspirational ambition to be a leading regional tank operator offering one-stop deep-sea and intra-APAC logistics services.

We are closer to this ambition with the merger of Den Hartogh with the MUTO group of companies in Korea, Thailand and Malaysia beginning of November 2021. Our strong regional presence across 5 APAC offices, including Singapore and Shanghai, will propel Den Hartogh to be a leading intra-APAC logistics service provider. This growth milestone signifies our commitment to the region in addition to our growing fleet of tank containers.

Through the establishment of new Den Hartogh regional offices and also growing with our accredited regional network partners, we aim to be the leading Asia Pacific chemical logistics provider. Our customers can rely on Den Hartogh’s operational excellence and extensive network coverage to manage inter-modal transportation of their bulk liquid products.

Customer intimacy. Empowered professionals. Technological innovation. Close proximity and growing presence in the world’s most dynamic region – this is how Den Hartogh is moving intra-APAC chemical logistics into the future.
